Over the past few months, we have added great features such as Expanded Collaboration and Lifecycle Editor to make it easier than ever for Developers and Operations to work together in small teams, on large projects, and across large organizations. As Cloud Application Manager is empowering bigger and bigger teams at larger and larger companies to freely deploy their business critical applications and consume infrastructure, IT teams increasingly want to gain visibility, control, and insights on how Cloud Application Manager is being used within their organization.
That is why, today, we are launching a brand new version of the Cloud Application Manager Administration Console. It comes loaded with improvements and new features that enable IT to set up, manage, and support their users and organization on Cloud Application Manager.
Customize and Integrate
We know it’s important for our enterprise users to reinforce their brand with their employees and to integrate with their existing tools. With the Cloud Application Manager admin console, you will be able to set up your organization in a way that makes sense for your company. You can pick a logo and custom domain, enable signup and login options via email, Google/GitHub authentication, or integrate with your LDAP.
You can also set up which cloud providers your users have access to as well as a way to automatically add tags on your infrastructure when instances are deployed through Cloud Application Manager.
Control and Manage Cloud Application Manager Assets
As an Cloud Application Manager customer, you have a large amount of information to manage. The admin console helps makes sense of it and offers full previews of users, providers, Boxes, instances, and Workspaces within the organization.
To make browsing and acting on your data as efficient as possible, we made it all searchable, sortable, and also included bulk actions that can be run on several selected items at once. For instance, as an admin, you could search for all instances of a given Box deployed in a given workspace and terminate them all at once.
This release also comes with convenient ways for your organization’s administrators to make sure the right people have access to the right content. They will be able to manage who is a member of a Workspace, and they will also be able to transfer ownership of any workspace, box, instance or provider.
Support Your Users
Cloud Application Manager administrators are often in charge of helping their users get up to speed with the product. That is why we made it possible for Cloud Application Manager administrators to fully control all the assets created within their organization. From the admin console, they can quickly access any asset and jump to help debug a box, make sure an instance is running properly, or finish setting up a provider.
We hope you enjoy all the new features we have to offer in the admin console. Find the documentation here. We are always adding more, so stay tuned. If you don’t have an enterprise account yet, it’s easy to switch! Just tell us more about your project or business needs and we will get in touch with you.
