Managed Firewall Service on Customer Premise provides a managed firewall on customer premises. CenturyLink provides the design, installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance and support for the service.

Clients can choose between various Firewall appliances from different vendors. Clients have the option of bundling Intrusion Prevention Services (IPS) into the solution. Where IPS is provided, CenturyLink will deliver Incident Response as part of the service, with the CenturyLink Service Centre performing an analysis of any detected events.

In addition to IPS, clients can choose to add the following services:

  • Site-to-Site VPN or Client VPN.
  • Virtual Firewall Option in 5, 10, and 20 license increments.
  • Firewall Failover Solution, based on a dedicated hot standby.
  • Upgraded Ethernet connectivity.
  • Additional Attack Investigation: available from CenturyLink Security Services for an additional charge.

Service Level Agreement
