Customer Use Case #1

Without KEMP 360 Central

A customer has an estate spread across internal data centers, public cloud services and CoLo. LoadMaster is used extensively on all application delivery platforms and network and application managers have multiple different management points. This approach reduces visibility on the application delivery status and performance, and creates additional workload for administration staff.

With KEMP 360 Central

With all the LoadMaster instances across the estate integrated with KEMP 360 Central, the network and application administrator roles have a single point of administration where the estate performance and status is available in real time. This reduces the administration workloads and greatly improves application availability through better visibility on emerging issues and quicker issue diagnosis.

Customer Use Case #2

Without KEMP 360 Central

On moving an application to the cloud, the customer is faced with multiple challenges, including sizing the cloud ADC correctly, executing the application transition to the cloud and managing the application delivery infrastructure across multiple platforms and instances. The proposed cloud migration will fragment ADC resources from a single, large on-premises resource to multiple cloud-hosted virtual ADC instances. The customer is faced with additional licensing costs as well as increased management overhead.

With KEMP 360 Central

With KEMP 360 Central, a cloud migration is greatly simplified as the issues of sizing, licensing and management are addressed. Before embarking on the cloud migration, the existing ADC environment (including non-KEMP resources) is analysed to establish the per-workload resource requirements. Once these are understood, KEMP 360 Central can leverage metered licensing for load balancing resources to deliver right-sized cost-effective ADC instances for the application workloads. To assist with migration, virtual services (including 3rd party configurations) are moved to the cloud using a simple drag and drop reducing risk and simplifying the migration process. Once migrated, all resources are easily managed from a single interface that covers KEMP and 3rd party resources deployed on-premises and in the cloud.
