Intelligent Monitoring   

Monitoring and management of client provided equipment hosted in a CenturyLink Data Centre.

The Intelligent Monitoring service consists of the monitoring and management of client provided hardware and software systems, circuits, devices, or applications residing in a CenturyLink Data Centre.

Clients can choose between 3 levels of service:

Basic Service: Monitoring is Agentless. Network devices are limited to basic ICMP (ping) only. The Basic Service includes the following

  • URL Monitoring
  • TCP Port Check
  • ICMP/Ping Testing
  • SavvisStation Portal Access
  • Configuration Management
  • Automated Alert Notification
  • Monitoring Configuration Changes
  • Support
  • Ethernet Connectivity

Basic + Service: Monitoring is Agent-based. The Basic + Service includes the following additional features:

  • Troubleshooting
  • CenturyLink Intelligent Agent (IA)
  • Alert /Incident Tracking
  • Software procurement and deployment.

Premium Service: The Premium Service includes the following additional features:

  • Incident Resolution.
  • Custom Application Monitoring and Reporting.

Features

  • Clients can choose between 3 different levels of service.

  • Support for Microsoft and RHEL operating systems.

  • CenturyLink can also support development for client applications that are not supported by the standard service.


Use Cases

  • Ideal for clients wishing to host their own equipment in a CenturyLink Data Centre, but not wishing to manage it themselves.

  • Delivers some of the operational benefits typically found in CenturyLink Managed Hosting solutions to client owned equipment.

  • Frees up client IT resources to focus on more strategic activities.


Service Level Agreement

CenturyLink will provide a notification to customer within 15 minutes of alert.
